<p>Se terminó la magia. Los <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/juegos-olimpicos" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Juegos Paralímpicos de París 2024</a> </strong>llegaron a su final, y con ello 11 días de intensa actividad en el <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/tema/team-parachile" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Team ParaChile</a></strong>, que llevó la delegación más grande de su historia y firmó una actuación sólo comparable con lo hecho en <strong>Tokio 2020</strong>.</p>



<p>En aquella ocasión, nuestro representativo logró su mejor desempeño desde que se desarrolla este evento, en Barcelona 1992, con <strong>dos medallas de oro, tres de plata y un bronce</strong>, además de <strong>10 diplomas paralímpicos</strong>. Ahora, en suelo francés, se subió la vara.</p>



<p>Hasta antes del domingo glorioso para el deporte chileno, nuestro país consiguió <strong>cuatro terceros puestos</strong>, tres de ellos conseguidos por la leyenda <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/tema/alberto-abarza" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Alberto Abarza</a> </strong>en la para natación, y no por la tenimesista <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/tema/florencia-perez" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Florencia Pérez</a></strong>, la más joven en ganar una presea con sólo 15 años. </p>



<p>Pero lo que ocurrió en el cierre de los Juegos Paralímpicos, con la <strong>única medalla de oro </strong>en París 2024 lograda por la paracanoista <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/juegos-olimpicos/cierre-dorado-de-chile-en-paris-2024-katherinne-wollermann-conquista-el-oro-en-canotaje" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Katherinne Wollermann</a></strong>; más el histórico bronce de <strong>Marion Serrano </strong>en powerlifting, nos dejó con el siguiente registro final: <strong>un oro y cinco bronces</strong>. En el puesto 60° del medallero.</p>

<h2>El balance de Chile en Juegos Paralímpicos de París 2024</h2>



<p>Ya son tres los Juegos Paralímpicos en los que nuestro país consigue ganar medalla, desde la primera con <strong>Cristián Valenzuela </strong>en los 5000 metros (clase T11) en <strong>Londres 2012</strong>. Y en esta edición, es la segunda consecutiva en que se logra el primer puesto, con Abarza en Tokio y Wollermann en Francia.</p>



<p>Además de las preseas antes señaladas, el Team ParaChile logró <strong>su mayor cantidad de diplomas paralímpicos </strong>en la historia, con un total de 14:</p>

<p>Por si fuera poco, Chile actualmente posee <strong>dos récords mundiales y paralímpicos</strong>. La primera fue <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/tema/francisca-mardones" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Francisca Mardones</a> </strong>en Tokio 2020 con sus 8.33 metros&nbsp;en el lanzamiento de la bala (F54), y en París 2024, con <strong>Katherinne Wollermann </strong>con su triunfo en los 200 metros (KL1) en 541.95 segundos.</p>

<h2>¿Cuándo será la próxima edición?</h2>



<p>De acuerdo a lo que dio a conocer el&nbsp;<strong>Comité Paralímpico Internacional</strong>, la 18° edición de los Juegos Paralímpicos de Verano se llevarán a cabo en la ciudad estadounidense de&nbsp;<strong>Los Ángeles</strong>, entre el <strong>martes 22 de agosto y el domingo 3 de septiembre</strong>.</p>

<p>El <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/juegos-olimpicos/florencia-perez-medalla-de-bronce-para-tenis-de-mesa-juegos-paralimpicos-paris-2024" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Team ParaChile</a></strong> le puso broche dorado a su participación en <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/juegos-olimpicos/francisca-mardones-juegos-paralimpicos-paris-2024-lanzamiento-de-bala" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">París 2024</a></strong>. Este domingo, en el último día de competencia, <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/juegos-olimpicos/katherinne-wollermann-final-para-canotaje-juegos-paralimpicos-paris-2024" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Katherinne Wollermann</a></strong> se quedó con la medalla de oro en los 200 metros KL1 del canotaje y la primera presea dorada para el país en los <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/juegos-olimpicos" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Juegos Paralímpicos</a></strong>.</p>



<p>La paracanoísta accedió a la final por medallas luego de terminar en primer lugar en las clasificatorias que se disputaron el viernes recién pasado. Con esto ya cumplía un gran objetivo: mantenerse en el podio tras haber ganado la medalla de bronce en <strong><a href="https://redgol.cl/juegos-olimpicos/como-le-fue-a-chile-en-los-juegos-olimpicos-tokio-2020-revisa-las-mejores-actuaciones" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tokio 2020</a></strong>.</p>



<p>En la final de este domingo por la mañana, Wollermann conquistó su primer oro paralímpico al terminar con un tiempo de 51.95. Atrás dejó a la ucraniana Maryna Mazhula y a la alemana Edina Mueller, quienes vieron a la chilena establecer en récord paralímpico en las aguas de Vaires-sur-Marne.</p>



<p>El oro que se colgó este domingo 8 de septiembre se convierte en el cuarto de la historia del Team ParaChile. <h2>Dos medallas para Chile en el cierre de París 2024</h2>



<p>Además del oro de Katherinne Wollermann, el Team ParaChile sumó otra medalla en el cierre de París 2024. La chilena <strong>Marion Serrano</strong> conquistó el bronce en levantamiento de potencia (86kg) al levantar 134 kilos. Más arriba en el podio quedaron la brasileña Tayana Medeiros (156 kg) y la china Feifei Zheng (155).</p>



<p>Con estas dos preseas, ahora nuestra delegación se prepara para decirle adiós a los Juegos Paralímpicos. ¿El saldo? Cinco medallas de bronce y una de oro (con preseas inéditas en para tenis de mesa y para powerlifting). La ceremonia de cierre de París 2024 será a las 15:30 horas chilenas.</p>
