<p>Fue por medio de su Instagram que la tarde de este martes que<strong>Ellen Page</strong> confirmó que es parte de la comunidad transgénero y desde ahora comenzará a llamarse <strong>Elliot Page.</strong></p>
<p>Su anuncio lo dio a conocer por medio de una extensa carta que reveló en formato de imagen en la red social, donde la siguen más de 3 millones 200 mil cuentas, y que publicó sin mayores descripciones ni rodeos.</p>
<p><strong>“Hola amigos, quiero compartir con ustedes quesoy trans, mis pronombres son él/ellos y que mi nombre es Elliot.Me siento afortunado por escribir esto. Por estar aquí.Por haber llegado a este lugar en mi vida”</strong>, partió postulando en la sentida misiva.</p>
<p><strong>“Me siento afortunado de poder escribir esto, de poder estar aquí, en este momento de mi vida”</strong>, escribió el protagonista de “The Umbrella Academy”, y agradeció a la comunidad trans por “su valentía, su generosidad y su trabajo incesante para hacer de este mundo un lugar más inclusivo y compasivo”.</p>
<p>El actor que ya alcanzó una nominación al Oscar por su actuaciónen “Juno” luego continúa planteando que “siento abrumadora gratitud por la gente increíble que me ha apoyado en este camino.<strong>No puedo empezar a expresar lo increíble que se siente por fin amar quien soy lo suficiente como para seguir a mi auténtico yo</strong>. Me han inspirado tantos en la comunidad trans”.</p>

<p>Y sobre la misma comunidad expresó “gracias a todos por nuestra valentía, nuestra generosidad e incesante trabajo para hacer de este mundo un lugar más inclusivo y compasivo.<strong>Ofreceré cualquier apoyo que pueda y continuaré esforzándome por una sociedad más igualitaria y con más amor</strong>“.</p>
<p>“Al mismo tiempo, pido paciencia. Mi felicidad es real, pero también es frágil. La verdad es que, a pesar de sentirme profundamente feliz ahora y sabiendo el privilegio que tengo, también tengo miedo. Le temo a la invasividad, al odio, a las bromas y a la violencia”, añadió.</p>
<p><strong>“Me encanta que soy trans. Y me encanta que soy queer. Y cuanto más me mantengo cerca y abrazo completamente quién soy, más sueño, más crece mi corazón y más prospero”</strong>, sostuvo indicó</p>
<p>Más de 405 mil “me gusta” le llovieron al actor que siempre se ha caracterizado por hablar abiertamente sobre su orientación sexual y de paso abogar por la defensa de la comunicada LGBTQI+.<span></span></p>
